Some journeys require support beyond our standard airport services. Airport Angels can provide tailored solutions for more complex arrangements, from accompanying a passenger throughout their entire journey to extended chaperone care and additional luggage support.
Every specialist service is arranged individually, taking into account the passenger, airport, itinerary and level of assistance required.
Specialist support, tailored to you
- Flagship Service
In short: An Airport Angel travels with the passenger, accompanying them from their departure airport through to their final destination.
- A dedicated Airport Angel travels with the passenger, including accompanying them on the flight
- The service can be arranged for children, young people or other passengers who would benefit from dedicated support throughout their entire journey
- We assist with the airport departure process, including check-in and boarding, and manage the journey through to arrival at the final destination
- The Airport Angel remains with the passenger throughout the flight and continues the service on arrival until the agreed handover or final destination is reached
- Every Flying Angels journey is individually planned around the passenger's itinerary and requirements
- Practical Support
In short: Additional help for passengers travelling with large amounts of luggage, specialist equipment or simply more luggage than they can comfortably manage alone.
- At Gatwick, porter services can be arranged for passengers and groups requiring additional luggage support, from families travelling with young children to larger groups and film crews with significant amounts of luggage or equipment.
- At Heathrow, porter arrangements are more restricted and require an Airside Arrival service. For departures, our Airport Angels can assist passengers with luggage from their vehicle through to check-in where appropriate.
- At other airports, availability will depend on the airport facilities and the requirements of the journey.
- Personal Care
In short: Dedicated supervision and support for children and young people who need to spend an extended period of time at the airport before the next stage of their journey.
- An Airport Angel remains with the child or young person throughout the agreed period, providing supervision, assistance and companionship
- Chaperone Care can be arranged when a young traveller arrives at the airport several hours before check-in opens, or arrives into the UK before their onward transport or school transfer is available
- We can assist with meals and refreshments, help navigate the terminal and provide general airport support throughout the waiting period
- We remain with the young traveller until it is time to check in, meet their onward transport or be collected by their parent, guardian or designated person
- Communication can be maintained with parents, schools and guardianship organisations throughout the service where required
