Landside Departures

We meet you in the check-in area before security. Help with bags, check-in, boarding passes and guiding you smoothly through to the security queue.

An Airport Angel will meet passengers from their coach, taxi, private transfer or at a pre-arranged meeting point

Our Landside Departure service is designed to make the airport departure process straightforward and well organised, with an Airport Angel on hand from arrival at the terminal through to Security.

Landside Arrivals

We meet you in the Arrivals hall after baggage reclaim and Customs, and assist with your onward transport.

More Information

An Airport Angel will meet passengers in the Arrivals Hall with a clearly displayed name sign.
For individual travellers, we can escort you to your driver, taxi, public transport, family member, school transport or designated meeting point.
For groups, we coordinate their onward departure from the airport, liaising directly with the coach driver, transport provider or coach marshal where applicable. We escort passengers to the agreed pick-up point and remain with the group while passengers and luggage are loaded and until their transport is ready to depart.
Where required, we can assist with terminal transfers and help coordinate other onward travel arrangements.
For children and young travellers, we ensure they are handed over to the designated responsible adult or onward transport.
Communication can be maintained with parents, schools, organisations, tour operators or group leaders throughout the service where required.
Landside Arrival services provide a professional point of contact from the moment you enter the Arrivals Hall through to the next stage of your journey.

Airside Departures

We meet passengers at the airport, assist with check-in and accompany them through Security to their departure gate.

An Airport Angel will meet passengers from their taxi, private transfer or at a pre-arranged meeting point
We assist with check-in, bag drop and any pre-departure requirements
Passengers are accompanied through Security and into the departure area, providing support throughout the airport process
Passengers are escorted to their boarding gate
Adult passengers using an airport lounge can be escorted there and collected at an agreed time before being accompanied to their boarding gate
Where required, communication can be maintained with parents, schools or organisations throughout the process

Airside Arrivals

We meet passengers after landing and accompany them through the airport to their onward transport or meeting point.

Transit/Connection Services

We meet passengers from their arriving flight and assist them through to their onward flight.

More Information

An Airport Angel will meet passengers on their arrival into the UK and assist them through the connection process
Where baggage is checked through to the final destination, passengers can usually remain Airside and be accompanied directly through the flight connection process
Where baggage needs to be collected and re-checked, passengers will need to come Landside. We can provide both arrival and departure assistance, including support with baggage reclaim, check-in and the onward departure process
An Airport Angel remains with passengers as required, accompanying them to the departure gate for their onward flight
Communication can be maintained with parents, schools or organisations where required

Our Transit & Connection Service provides additional reassurance and support for passengers navigating connecting flights, particularly when travelling alone or through an unfamiliar airport.

Terminal Transfer Services

We assist passengers transferring between terminals, meeting points and designated handover locations within the airport.

An Airport Angel can meet passengers from their arriving flight or at a pre-arranged location within the airport, and accompany them to their onward terminal, check-in area or designated handover point
We regularly assist children, young travellers and international students moving between terminals, including those arriving into one terminal who need to meet school staff, guardians or onward transport departing from another
Our team can facilitate handovers between parents, guardians, school staff, group leaders and other authorised receiving pa
Passengers remain accompanied throughout the transfer, ensuring they safely reach the correct terminal, check-in area or meeting point
Communication can be maintained with parents, schools, guardianship organisations and group leaders throughout the process

Ideal for:

Terminal Transfer Services provide a simple solution for passengers who need to move between terminals, whether travelling individually, joining a group, continuing their journey or meeting onward transport at another terminal.

Unaccompanied Minor Services

We provide specialist support for children travelling alone under an airline's Unaccompanied Minor (UM) programme.

* An Unaccompanied Minor (UM) is a child travelling under a dedicated airline service designed for young travellers. This service must be arranged directly with the airline and is separate from Airport Angels' assistance services.

Airport Angels works closely with airlines to ensure all Unaccompanied Minor procedures are completed correctly for departure or arrival
We assist with check-in, travel documentation and the completion of airline-specific UM paperwork
For Departures, children remain accompanied by an Airport Angel until they are handed over to airline staff. Our staff member then remains in the terminal until the aircraft has departed, in accordance with airline requirements
On arrival, we carry out the handover with airline staff and accompany children until they are handed over to their designated transport provider, school representative or other authorised receiving person
Communication can be maintained with parents, schools, guardianship organisations and group leaders throughout the journey

Ideal for:

Children travelling under an airline's Unaccompanied Minor programme, requiring professional support throughout their airport journey.

Chaperone Care

We provide dedicated supervision and support for children and young people who need to spend an extended period of time at the airport before the next stage of their journey.

More Information

An Airport Angel remains with the child or young person throughout the agreed period, providing assistance, supervision and companionship
Chaperone Care can be arranged when a child or young person arrives at the airport several hours before check-in opens, or when they arrive into the UK and need
We can assist with meals, refreshments, terminal navigation and general airport support where required
We remain with the young traveller until it is time to check in, meet their onward transport or be collected by their parent, guardian or designated person
Communication can be maintained with parents, schools, guardianship organisations and group leaders throughout the service where required

Ideal for:

Chaperone Care provides parents and organisations with the reassurance that children and young people are supervised and supported during extended periods at the airport.
