It’s finally here! The five-day clue hunt has come to its finale and we can now reveal the answers, and the prize that is being awarded to the winners of this decoding debacle.
We never aimed to make this easy for you, and we took note from the king of problem-solving, Sherlock Holmes, to construct this challenge. Our Holmesian series of clues required deductive powers to unearth the prize, but luckily there were no insidious answers at the end of our clues, in fact, it was the opposite! We took the Sherlock mould and added a happy twist- a free prize for five of our followers.
A Study in Pink is the first episode of the Sherlock Holmes TV series, and we saw it fitting to adopt the title for our competition… as you’ll soon find out. Now, for those of you who could not work out the answers, we can put you out of your misery. Here’s a quick recap of all the clues and we have attached the answers.

What consecutive letters in Gatwick, Heathrow and Scatsta Airport spell a two letter preposition?
‘Hi war, troop hater’
The answers to the clues spells out: ‘Free Meet Airside at Heathrow’. That’s what all this has been building to. For the first five people to tweet or message us the full answer, we will send you a voucher for free airside assistance during your next visit at Heathrow. An Angel will meet you wearing pink to help you during your next trip, completely free of charge!
We want to reward our wonderful supporters and patrons for using our service, and we decided to do this by giving something back. Our company philosophy is to protect and safeguard all passengers travelling to and from the airport and this free meet, directly off the plane, is the safest way to get from plane door to taxi seat. The airside meet is one of several services we offer and can really help people navigate the airport terminals, so, for those lucky few that do get the prize, we hope you enjoy the service from your very own chaperone in pink!
Thanks for taking part in competition week, we appreciate all the support and everybody who shared answers on our social media channels. For more content from Airport Angels find us on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
